What should I bring to my first class?

Preparation for Classes

Dance Classes:

  • Uniform & Footwear:

    • Uniforms and appropriate dance shoes are required.
    • No dirty street shoes are allowed in the studio.
  • Before Class:

    • Arrive on time to change, stow away your belongings, and be ready to dance.
  • What to Bring:

    • Comfortable clothing.
    • A water bottle.
    • An open mind and positive attitude.

Yoga Classes:

  • Essentials to Bring:

    • A non-slip yoga mat.
    • Comfortable, stretchy sport clothing (no jeans or tight, non-stretch fabrics).
  • Dress Tips:

    • Dress in layers to adjust for changes in body temperature during class (e.g., sweatshirt, sweatpants, sweater, socks).
    • Best to remain barefoot for optimal stability.
  • Additional Props:

    • Yoga blocks or bolsters if needed. We have some yoga blocks available, but not enough for all students.
  • Before Class:

    • Leave shoes under the benches in the hallway.
    • Bring a water bottle.

Health Considerations:
If you have any health issues, inform the teacher before class. They will adjust exercises to ensure your comfort and safety.
