Can I join Ndigo at any time during the season?

Yes. New students are welcome throughout the entire season. Ndigo operates on two semesters: September to December (first semester) and January to May (second semester).

How registration works
After the annual show, registrations open for the new season. Students who were already enrolled receive priority to re-enrol first. After the priority period, remaining spaces are opened to new students. Once you are registered in any class at Ndigo, you automatically enjoy pre-registration for future seasons.

Joining in the first semester (September–December)
You can join at any point. Ndigo calculates a pro-rated price based on the number of lessons remaining, so you only pay for what you follow.

A €5 annual insurance fee is always due, regardless of when you join.

Joining in the second semester (January–May)
You are welcome to join the second semester, again at a pro-rated price. From January onwards, all recreational dance classes work on choreographies for the annual show. New students receive video recordings of the choreography to practise at home alongside the live classes.

After 1 April, it is no longer possible to dance in the show. There is not enough time to learn the choreography confidently. In some cases, a late joiner may still learn the finale dance and appear on stage with all students at the end. Once choreographies are set, the teacher may not be able to assign a position in the piece.

Trial lessons
New students can always try a lesson first before enrolling, including mid-season.

Yoga classes
Yoga operates separately from the dance programme. There is no annual show for yoga, so yogis can join at any moment during the season without choreography-related restrictions.

Competition teams
Entry to competition teams is by audition only. Mid-season entry is not possible.
